I don’t know what article you are looking for but the statement is correct. It does all begin with the soil. without soil and water nothing grows and we would all starve. you also need a little carbon dioxide so beware of the restrictions from the “global warming” nuts

this is a circle food chine if the soil does not contain minerals to support plant life can not support live stock cows or what not

It’s the food chain, plain and simple. For us, the chain starts with the soil. Cows eat grass and we eat cows. When you eat a baked potato with your cow, it come directly from the soil.
