How much would purchasing a small pig/cattle farm cost?

by cattlefarmer on September 16, 2009

Cronin asked:

How much would it cost to purchase either a small to medium size pig farm or cattle farm in a 3rd world country?

What about in the United States?

I hate to throw it back at you but you probably need to consider how much you would pay for one, theyll come in all price ranges. In the US Ive seen agricultural acreage go from as little as $1,000 an acre to $50,000 or more an acre, depends on how well started the business is, what area, is their a market close to farm or are they shipped etc…
Think of where you want it, how much you can pay and then for USA hop on and search for land for sale. Also, look on, etc…. classifieds sites and see if anyone has a posting for one.
